Deputy National Communication Director of the New Patriotic Party, Asiedu Kokuro, says the party is excited about getting new faces to represent the party in the 2024 general elections.
According to Mr. Kokuro, the party stands to record a high number of votes in the upcoming elections, as the new entrants bring in some enthusiasm and zeal.
On Saturday, January 27, the New Patriotic Party held its parliamentary primaries in constituencies with sitting Members of Parliament.
He posits that the new faces represent the new hope that will maximize the votes for the party.
Mr. Asiedu Kokuro was speaking in an interview with Obeng Darko Ampem, host of Spice FM’s Morning Show.
Mr. Kokuro further revealed that the leadership of the party has put in a reconciliation committee in all the regions to bring about unity in the party as they prepare for the 2024 general elections.
He called on party members to support newly elected parliamentary candidates.
