Providing job opportunities, developing skills, and offering youth empowerment to ensure development and progress in the Essikado-Ketan Constituency is my vision.
This is according to Giovanni Osei Tutu Agyemang, an NPP-aspiring parliamentary candidate in the area.
Mr. Giovanni Agyemang said that ensuring economic independence is his priority, and that will make the constituents self-reliant.
He says there are plans to offer financial freedom to electorates in a bid to curb unemployment.
“We have similar problems as that of the whole nation: unemployment. People who are strong to work are not finding jobs to do.
I feel the focus was not much on that, but I will make sure my focus goes there more: find jobs for them, train them, and psych their minds so that we can even start something on their own.”
He mentions that the NPP is in a better position to win the 2024 general elections because of its support base.
Mr. Giovanni touts that a contest between him and the NDC’s aspirant, Dr. Grace Ayensu Dankwa, is not a tough one.
Mr. Giovani Agyemang chronicled some of his contributions to members of the constituency.
He said, “Already, I have done something that nobody has done. I have opened electoral area welfare accounts for them. We have 12 electoral areas in Essikado-Ketan. I have opened bank accounts for them at Zenith Bank.
In fact, I used a seed money of 3,000 cedis. It may sound small, but the idea is to do periodic top-ups for them.”
