Kirk Mensah, the Western Regional Communications Director of the NDC, says former President John Dramani Mahama’s second coming will influence changes in the country.
Mr. Mensah believes this will take the country to a different level.
He is of a firm belief that this will be possible because of John Dramani’s influences at the international level.
“John Dramani Mahama has been president before; he has the international network; he has his network already in place; but in the next year that he’s coming, he wants to take this country to a different level. We don’t need eight years.
The Constitution of the Republic of Ghana gives four years, and the eight years are not guaranteed.
The Constitution gives him a mandate to come back as president, and in the next four years, we will make sure we turn things around and do things differently from how we have been doing things in the past. You cannot do the same thing and expect different results. That is a realistic philosophy,” he said.
Mr. Kirk Mensah defended the 24-hour economy as being the game changer to make the country attain economic progress.
“Imagine Ghana on a 24-hour economy. How Ghanaian youth are going to get jobs, how our GDP will grow, how our economy will be stabilised, and how our security agencies are going to be deployed. Imagine it.
He mentioned that the NDC will put systems in place to enable the 24-hour economy to work efficiently and effectively.
Mr. Kirk Mensah was speaking in an interview with the host of the Western Echo Show, Arafat Musah.
” Imagine Ghana on the 24-hour economy. How Ghanaian youth are going to get jobs, how our GDP grow, how our economy will be stabilised, and how our security agencies are going to be deployed. Imagine it. “
