The Health Directorate of Effia Kwesimintsim Municipal Assembly, EKMA, is undertaking another round of the National Immunization Campaign vaccination for adults 18 years of age and older.
In a statement signed by Joyce Bagina, the Municipal Director of Health, first, second, and booster doses of COVID-19 will be administered to all eligible adults with the exemption of pregnant women.
It added that a team of nurses will provide services from house to house, public health facilities, churches, mosques, schools, markets, and lorry stations, amongst others.
The public is entreated to ensure they are up to date with their COVID-19 vaccination to prevent the upsurge of COVID-19 disease.
The vaccination exercise, which began on December 16, would end on December 20, 2023.
