FIFA has given its approval for 30 Nigerian referees to participate in various international games scheduled for next year.
The group comprises 11 referees, 11 assistant referees, along with four beach soccer referees and four futsal referees.
Ademola Olajire, the spokesperson for the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), confirmed this development in a statement released on Thursday.
Among the listed referees are Basheer Salisu, Ogabor Odey Joseph, Olufunmilayo Abigael Alaba, Nurudeen Abubakar, and Abdulsalam Kasimu Abiola.
Nigerian football officials have often encountered challenges participating in international competitions, such as the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast.
