Western Regional Minister Encourages Local Manufacturers To Leverage Tax Waivers At Kwansa Motors’ 50th Anniversary Celebration
The Western Regional Minister, Kwabena Okyere Darko Mensah, has urged local manufacturing businesses to aspire to take advantage of the government’s tax waiver on locally produced items.
Speaking to journalists during the 50th-anniversary celebration of K.A.Kwansa Company Limited in Takoradi
He mentioned that the company, which began with humble beginnings, should endeavour to expand its operations.
The celebrations, themed “Quality Service Delivery: A Key Role in the Development of Ghana’s Integrated and Competitive Automotive Industry, seek to create a culture that promotes technology and service to humanity.
Mr. Okyere Darko Mensah commended the company for serving the people in the Western region and its environs with quality service.
The General Manager of Kwansa Company Limited, Mr. Nathaniel Kwabena Agyei Kwansa, while chronicling five decades in the automotive industry, stated the company is committed to offering an improved course to its customers.
Mr. Nathaniel K.A. Kwansa further said that through partnerships with non-governmental organizations, young people, especially women, are being trained in the automotive industry.
