Takoradi Technical University will on August 5, 2023 award individuals who have contributed to the growth of sports in Takoradi and the Western Region at large.
The event which would be the first of its kind will serve as a platform to honour coaches, teams and other outstanding sports personalities.
Across eleven categories for both male and female, sixty-six people have been nominated and Wisdom Fiifi Agbleke is no exception.
Wisdom Fiifi Agbleke finds himself in the football coach of the year category alongside Isaac Ayipeh and Alex Darpoh.
Wisdom achieved a great feat with the TTU football team after the female team finished second at the GHATUSA games in Tamale while the male team came third.
He has over the years been a great talent developer within and beyond the borders of the University. In the recent Inter-schools and college games in the Western Region, Wisdom conquered the Takoradi zone with team Tadisco and went on to win the Champion of Champions clash against the winners of the Sekondi zone in Adiembra Senior High School.
The hierarchy of the Takoradi Technical University deems it fit to recognize the works of Wisdom Fiifi Agbleke and as a young coach, he is more than deserving.
Wisdom hopes to coach the national football team of Ghana one day and this is a great step towards greatness.
