A tragic incident unfolded in Nigeria’s Bauchi state as a man was fatally shot during a test of a “gun medicine” or bulletproof charm by a traditional healer, according to police spokesman Ahmed Wakil.

The healer, who reportedly used a locally made gun for the test, has been arrested along with two other suspects, while additional individuals are currently evading authorities.

The experiment involved 43-year-old villager Muhammadu Ali, who lost his life during the process.

Police responded swiftly, rushing Mr. Ali to the hospital, but he was pronounced dead upon arrival.

The public is cautioned against participating in such risky tests, and investigations are ongoing before charging the suspects in court.
