Chief Executive Officer of Focus 1 Group, Mr. Kwame Adu-Mante has highlighted that media businesses in the Metropolis, are challenged by some factors that impede growth and progress in the Metropolis.
In an interview on the Western Echo Show, Mr. Mante mentions the market size, and low human resources amongst others as compared to other regions.
According to him, gone were the days when fewer businesses were established in the Metropolis but with the changing phases, more business establishments have sprung up making the market share limited.
He opined that such challenges in a way help business owners to venture into other businesses.
He observed that the tax regime in the country is not helping the growth of small businesses, and suggested that small businesses be exempted from withholding tax.
