NDC says it has no issues with the upcoming voter register exhibition
The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has stated that, despite their previous concerns about the Electoral Commission’s decision to conduct the recent limited voter registration exercise at the district level, they do not oppose the planned voters’ register exhibition.
The Electoral Commission has announced that it will exhibit the provisional voters’ register at all 38,622 polling stations nationwide from November 3 to November 7.
In an interview, the Deputy Secretary of the NDC, Mustapha Gbande, explained that while they were not pleased with the decentralized registration process, they would not engage in further disputes with the EC over the voter register exhibition.
Instead, they are focused on understanding the electoral landscape to secure victory in upcoming elections.
Gbande emphasized the NDC’s position on the matter, stating that they have no objections to the planned exhibition and intend to participate in the verification process to prepare for the district assembly elections.
However, he also mentioned that the NDC would raise concerns if necessary during the exhibition process.
