The owner of Kikibees, a popular bar and restaurant located in East Legon, has been murdered by unidentified attackers.
Bennet Adomah Agyekum was discovered lifeless at a residence in Madina within the Greater Accra Region on Sunday, October 9. This incident reportedly occurred shortly after Bennet left his restaurant(Kikibees) earlier that night.
The police revealed that the businessman was promptly taken to the hospital for medical attention but was pronounced dead upon arrival.
In connection with the case, law enforcement has apprehended one individual believed to be his girlfriend, who is assisting with the ongoing investigation.
A police statement stated, “The Police have arrested one Yandeh Joof, believed to be the girlfriend of the deceased, in connection with the matter and she is assisting the investigation.”
Authorities are currently probing the circumstances surrounding his demise, while his body has been placed in the Police Hospital morgue for preservation and autopsy.
