Minister of Roads and Highways raises concerns over corruption in his Ministry

The Minister of Roads and Highways, Kwasi Amoako-Attah, has publicly voiced his apprehensions regarding the prevalence of corruption within his ministry.

Expressing frustration, the minister asserted that the institution harbors numerous individuals engaged in corrupt practices and thievery.

Amoako-Attah’s candid remarks reflected his exasperation, as he indicated that even when some of the purportedly corrupt individuals are dismissed from their positions, their replacements often prove to be even more egregious in their actions.

These comments emerged during an inspection visit to the ongoing reconstruction project of the VALCO roundabout to Kpone road on Wednesday, August 23, 2023.
