The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has unveiled the list of 17 designated polling stations for its impending Super Delegates Conference, scheduled for August 26, 2023.

The conference holds paramount importance in the context of the party’s flagbearer election, as its outcome will determine the five candidates who will proceed to the final round of the race to become the presidential candidate.

In accordance with the established protocol, if more than five aspirants qualify to vie for the flagbearer position, the NPP will convene this special electoral college to streamline the field to five contenders for the ultimate phase of selection.

With ten hopefuls in the race for the position, the August 26 event will play a pivotal role in determining the five (5) candidates set to participate in the presidential primary scheduled for November 4, 2023.

To ensure equitable representation and accessibility, the NPP has designated one polling center for each of the regions, aggregating to a total of 17 polling stations nationwide.

These centers are to host the election, which will see the participation of over 900 delegates from across the country.
