Ghanaian rapper and songwriter Tulenkey has affirmed that the domination of Nigerian songs over Ghanaian songs in our country is impacting the music scene negatively.
Speaking to Nana Ama Shancy on Spice FM’s “OFIE NE FIE”, he said, such situations would be minimized if he had the power.
“If I had the power I’ll minimize the excess play of Nigerian music in our country because it seriously affects us and I don’t know if I’m supposed to blame us the musicians or everyone. The Nigerian music is played more than our music and it doesn’t help at all”, He said.
According to the “Kom” singer, it doesn’t matter how numerous Nigerian songs are, our songs must and should dominate.
He further urged everyone to work hand in hand with artists to promote the music industry, as it’s not only the work of musicians to do so.
