Beach FM on Sunday 13th August, 2023 hosted it’s first English Premier League (EPL) roadshow of the season, for the game between two of the best teams in the English Premier League, Chelsea and Liverpool, with Chelsea as the home team.
An unsurpassed in-depth sports analysis and live sports coverage were provided by Beach FM’s sports crew at Replay Sports Bar, at Newsite Acalema junction, close to Takoradi Technical University(TTU).
Football fans trooped in to Replay Sports Bar to enjoy the game and cheer their favorite teams to victory.
Some football fans speaking to Beach Newsroom shared their experiences and expectations of the match at the end of the game.
“This is the first match for the season so the anxiety is high, the players are very good and they would improve and come back and win the remaining matches”, one Liverpool supporter said.
Speaking on the opposite sideline, a Chelsea supporter gave his review of the game saying, “we all know the state at which Chelsea was last season, but their first match for this season meeting one of the biggest teams is very impressive. It tells us that the team can come back stronger”.
Some football fans also commended Beach FM for their EPL roadshow initiative.
“Today we were really entertained. This is the first of it’s kind that Beach FM has done. It’s amazing and I’ll commend the station for this beautiful thing and we’ll say that they should keep doing more of these things”, one football fan said at the end of the game.
