Ghanaian female music icon Efya has shed light on why she doesn’t respond to people who tag her as a drug addict.
Efya has been in the music space for over 15 years but has had people always tagging her as a drug addict with no concrete evidence.
Efya speaking in an exclusive interview with Nana Ama Shancy of Spice 91.9 FM, also revealed why she doesn’t take legal action against her naysayers.
According to her, people keep talking but God keeps elevating her. She stated she’s all about positivity and has no time for negative energy.
“I know the God I serve and I know that whatever they say is not true so I pay no attention to them. I have no energy for negativity because I’m always in a positive mood”, she declared. She made mention of how the “drug use tag” has in no way affected her brand or deals.
“They keep saying I abuse drugs with no evidence but it has never affected me or my brand. I’m still invited to perform at presidential circles and that says a lot”, she added.
Efya said she’s all about God, her talent and business, any negative thing apart from that doesn’t deserve her attention.
