The Founder and Executive Chairman of the Jospong Group of Companies, Joseph Siaw Agyepong has entreated Ghanaians to support local businesses.
“Let’s trust the Ghanaian. The Ghanaian is able and capable of doing everything.
Whatever we see in America and other countries was achieved by the same people in that country.
When you give the Ghanaian a mile, the Ghanaian by nature is a driving excellent person. Let’s help Ghanaian businesses, and support them,” He said.
He made these remarks at the commissioning of the 20 million Euro Faecal Sludge Management Plant at Asaakae within the Effia-Kwesimintsim Municipal Assembly.
According to him, most developed countries attained success and development with the support of their indigenes.
The facility, he added will employ about 100 people in the Assembly.
The Municipal Chief Executive of EKMA, Kojo Acquah highlighted the importance of the edifice which he believes would contribute to the local economy.
On his part, the State Secretary, of the Ministry of Affairs and Trade in Hungary, Tristan Azbej said, the commissioning of the project is a means to celebrate a remarkable partnership between Ghana and Hungary.
“It’s an achievement based on fellowship and professional commitment of both countries. Through this partnership we are inaugurating the facility built on Hungarian technology,” He noted.”
