Ghanaians are outraged by a distressing video showing an assault on Gyakie’s manager in Portugal.

Ghanaians had high expectations for singer Gyakie as she was set to perform at the ongoing AfroNation concert in Portugal. However, before her scheduled appearance, an incident of alleged security brutality occurred involving one of her team members, specifically her manager, Electro Mirror.

A disturbing video, which quickly circulated on social media, captured the moment when Mirror was subjected to rough treatment by uniformed security personnel, shocking onlookers. Talent manager George Britton, who shared the video, could be heard expressing his panic and reprimanding the security personnel for their aggressive behavior. Although specific details surrounding the incident are unclear, it is believed that a confrontation arose between Mirror and the security regarding access restrictions.

In the now-deleted video, Mirror was shown being forcefully pinned to the ground by approximately five security personnel, who held him in a chokehold as he struggled to breathe. He was subsequently taken to the hospital, and according to the latest update provided by George Britton, Mirror’s condition is now stable.

Despite the controversy surrounding the incident, Gyakie’s performance is still scheduled to take place on the second day of AfroNation Portugal.

As of now, neither Gyakie nor her management has issued an official statement to address the reports and provide clarification. The video has generated significant attention on social media, prompting a variety of opinions and discussions among netizens.
