A/R: Suame interchange project to start in August – Urban Roads director
As the project’s plans are being finalized, physical construction on the Suame interchange project in the Ashanti region is anticipated to begin in August.
Francis Gabrah, the Ashanti Regional Director for the Urban Roads Department, stated that although the project’s physical construction has not yet begun, the project concept is almost finished and that work may even start before August.
When the Ashanti Regional Minister, Simon Osei Mensah, escorted some officials to the project campsite on Tuesday, Mr. Gabrah made this statement.
Mohammed Omar Fazzani, the project manager at Rango Construction, promised that once the plans are complete, construction on the project will begin.
According to him, they are ahead of time and have heard feedback on the initial design submitted.
Residents of the Ashanti Region have expressed concerns regarding the Suame interchange project’s start-up delays.
As a result, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) leadership in the area has appealed for the appropriate procedures to be sped up so that the project can get started.
