The lawsuit was initiated as a response to Shatta Wale’s claims, made through a Facebook post on November 2, 2022, alleging Bulldog’s involvement in the murder of Fennec Okyere, who was the manager of Kwaw Kese.

During a previous court hearing, Shatta Wale’s legal representatives requested the possibility of settling the case outside of court. The Accra High Court granted this request, allowing the parties involved to pursue an amicable resolution to the defamation dispute.

In a significant turn of events, Shatta Wale’s legal team returned to court after one month to inform the judge that the parties involved had reached an initial agreement on the settlement terms.

Following this development, Shatta Wale’s lawyers requested a one-month adjournment to allow both parties to finalize the drafting of the settlement terms. The intention was for these agreed-upon terms to be presented to the court as a consent judgement.

Acknowledging that settlement terms had been reached in principle, Bulldog’s lawyers confirmed this during the court proceedings. As a result, the Accra High Court, presided over by Justice Joseph Adu Agyemang Owusu, adjourned the case to allow for the completion of the settlement agreement process.

As reported by Starr FM, one of the conditions included in the settlement agreement is a requirement for Shatta Wale to issue a public apology to Bulldog.

The resolution of the lawsuit through an out-of-court settlement is a noteworthy development in the ongoing dispute between Shatta Wale and Bulldog. By reaching this agreement, the parties involved have taken a significant step towards resolving their differences.

The inclusion of a public apology, along with other mutually agreed-upon terms, serves as a means to address the concerns and grievances that were raised during the course of the legal proceedings.

This latest development offers a ray of hope for a possible reconciliation between Shatta Wale and Bulldog.

With the settlement agreement in progress, the lawyers representing both the plaintiff and the defendant will now concentrate on finalizing the terms of the settlement. Their aim is to ensure that both Shatta Wale and Bulldog can move forward in a positive direction, putting this dispute behind them.
