The Ghanaian coordinating my feature with Beyoncè almost made me give up- Shatta Wale reveals

Shatta Wale, a Ghanaian reggae and dancehall musician, claimed that there were some issues with the coordinator that almost prevented him from working with Beyoncé, an American recording artist.

n a recent Twitter conversation titled “Konnekt with Shatta Wale,” Shatta Wale claimed that the Ghanian agent who was managing the process between himself and Beyoncé’s team made it extremely challenging and convoluted.

“I swear to God, I didn’t want to go through the procedure all over again when Beyoncé wanted to showcase me. Do you understand the reason? The Ghanaian who was coordinating for the thing and who followed went completely wrong.

“He was rushing, ‘chale what what, chale this and that’, and I told him to shut up, don’t tell me that, don’t shout like that. He was like, ‘she said she’ll come next week, we have to shoot the video now, and you see all those things, it does not move me”, Shatta said.

Shatta added that despite all the challenges, he still went ahead to collaborate with the American superstar and produced a hit song  “Already” because of his love for the fans.

“I did it because I love the fans, that is why I stressed myself. Beyoncé and her team actually wanted me to fly with my crew like the way I travel with 16, 12 people but our Ghanaians with their pressure forced me, now I want to feature Beyoncé and I am getting problems. Now the same Ghanaian can’t even get that feature”, he stated.
