Nhyiraba Kojo Would Be Freed After Submitting Report To The Court – Lawyer Buckman
Lawyer Fifi Buckman, has said the imprisonment of popular musician Nhyiraba Kojo is a failure to submit the report of installing soundproofing in his nightclub as ordered by a Sekondi Commercial High Court.
Nhyiraba Kojo’s jail comes after three residents of Fijai filed a case over noise which emanates from his nightclub.
According to Lawyer Buckman in an interview with Kwame Offie on Spice 91.9 FM said, if the report is to be submitted to the court, he could be freed after serving his jail term.
Lawyer Buckman disclosed that his client (Nhyiraba Kojo) was given one month to produce a report on a soundproof installation at the NK City nightclub.
” Though the report was requested by the court around December and was expected to be delivered in January, it was delayed because you know how it is to also deal with public institutions in Ghana when you need information, the court will not sit today, Friday, April 28, 2023, but we are hopeful to get the report to facilitate his bail as soon as possible.
He will serve the 30-day jail term as ordered by the court, after which he will be freed when he submits the full report,” He said.
