During an interview on TV3’s New Day morning broadcast, Ras Kuuku made this claim. The “Kweku the Traveller” hitmaker, according to Kuuku, has a better chance of winning Artiste of the Year, and he also said that it would be challenging for him (Blacko) to win the Reggae song or Reggae Artiste award because to the fierce competition in the category.

Ras Kuuku, who praised Black Sherif on his accomplishment, said that his brilliance and hard work had contributed to it.
The “Show them love” hitmaker said, “This time, we worked hard. ‘3 3 in 1’ is well known to everyone. No one who is not a reggae/dancehall performer will receive the award this year.
Ras Kuuku, who praised Black Sherif for his accomplishment, said it was a result of his diligence and commitment to his craft. “Let me tell you that Black Sherif is winning Artiste of the Year because he worked hard, but when it comes to the Reggae side, we [Ras Kuuku and team] worked harder,” he blasted.

The popular reggae performer went on to say that his album “3 3 & 1 (Miensa Miensa Ne Baako)” had been nominated for several prizes, and that he was almost certain to take home at least one of them. In order to clarify, he said, “You know Ras Kuuku done the best for the genre. It’s returning to Puom. Reggae/Dancehall music is coming to Puom, if not Reggae Artiste of the Year.
The highest award granted at the VGMAs, The Artiste of the Year, goes to the musician who has had the biggest impact on the nation’s music business over the course of the preceding year. The musicians nominated for this year’s Grammy Awards are King Promise, Kidi, Piesie Esther, Camido, Stonebwoy, and Blacko.
