Former President Mahama Calls On Rank-and-File To Support Presidential And Flagbearer Aspirant Elects
NDC’s Flag Bearer Aspirant, John Dramani Mahama has appealed to the rank and file of the party to rally behind individuals who would be elected as parliamentary candidates or flag bearers on May 13.
The objective, he said, is to defeat the governing NPP at the polls and not campaign against each other.
“We are the same people. None of them is our opponent. Our opponent is the NPP and all of us have the objective of returning the NDC back into office. That is our objective,” He said.
He said, aspirants and their supporters must realize that if they do not win the primaries, they must give support to whoever will be elected and wait patiently for their turn.
He notes that the contest on May 13 is an NDC family affair and must go into the 2024 Presidential and Parliamentary elections with a common purpose.
He further mentioned that the construction of the District Hospital at Shai-Osudoku was in fulfilment of the late President John Evans Atta Mills’ vision of providing the people in the area with an ultra-modern hospital.
