Musiga Calls Gyedu-Blay Ambolley And Kofi Okyere-Darko To Order
The Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA) has recently called out two prominent figures in the entertainment industry, Gyedu-Blay Ambolley and Kofi Okyere Darko (KOD), for their comments on social media that were deemed inappropriate and offensive.

In March 2023, there was a heated exchange between two important figures in the music industry, Gyedu-Blay Ambolley and another unnamed individual, following an interview given by Ambolley.
During the interview, Ambolley made some comments about Vodafone Ghana Music Award helping the downfall of highlife music that were perceived as critical and offensive by the other individual. This led to a back-and-forth exchange between the two, with both parties saying some harsh things to each other.
A recent exchange between two prominent figures in the music industry, Gyedu-Blay Ambolley and KOD, turned heated after a controversial comment made by Ambolley. In response to Ambolley’s opinion, KOD described it as “nonsense” and stated that Highlife musicians had failed to evolve with the times and were now blaming an awards scheme.

Bessa Simons, the Acting President of MUSIGA, has taken a strong stance against the recent feud between Gyedu-Blay Ambolley and KOD in the music industry. In addition to calling for calm and constructive dialogue, Simons has urged music fans to stop encouraging the feud.
