CoSt Sekondi-Takoradi Educates Stakeholders in EKMA On The Introduction Of Infrastructure Analytical Dashboard

CoST Sekondi-Takoradi has organised a stakeholder gathering today to solicit stakeholders’ input for the development of an Infrastructure Analytical Dashboard(IAD) and Electronic Infrastructure Monitoring Tool(E-IMT) to strengthen local Infrastructure governance.

The Dashboard is expected to be an open online data source that will provide information to the general public and other stakeholders who have an interest in the assembly’s project and its efficient execution.

This program which took place at EKMA’s Assembly Hall forms part of ongoing constructive engagement aimed at enhancing the capacity of participating MMDAs including Sekondi Takoradi Metropolitan Assembly(STMA), Effia Kwesiminstim Municipal Assembly, Ahanta West Assembly, Tarkwa Nsuem Municipal Assembly, Nzema East Municipal Assembly, Mpohor District Assembly, Shama District Assembly and Wassa East District Assembly to adopt CoST approach to improve performance and derive better value for money.

Some of the invitees included technocrats of the various assemblies, traditional Authorities, the Market Women Association, Youth groups and more.

Speaking to Spice News on the sideline of the event, Mr Aziz Mahmoud, Assistant Manager of CoST  Foundation said that they are soliciting the views of all 8 assemblies to ensure that the dashboard is designed in a manner that best fits every assembly’s needs.
