Support The Private Sector To Succeed – Western Regional Minister Charges Assembly
Western Regional Minister, Kwabena Okyere Darko Mensah is charging the public sector workers to help private businesses in the region to flourish.
He says job creation and sustainability are part of the region’s medium-term plan which is founded on the private sector.
According to him, the country can go far when the private sector business grows as far as economic stability is concerned.
Speaking at a staff durbar at the Shama District Assembly as part of his tour to the district, he called on the workers to do their bid to ensure businesses established in the region survive to complement that of the public sector.
He said, even though the government has made history in the employment of public sector workers, they must do their bid to ensure that the private sector succeeds to boost revenue generation for the government.
Mr. Darko Mensah together with some executives of the Western Regional Coordinating Council (WRCC) and the Shama District Assembly toured and inspected some project sites in the Shama District which includes a private rice milling factory, Keda Ceramics, a 2-Unit KG block with office, playground and hexagonal tables funded by DPAT.
