Christopher Nkunku to miss World cup for France due to last Minute injury
Reports from French national team camp indicates that Christopher Nkunku will miss the FIFA World Cup which will commence in 4 days’ time due to an injury on his left knee.
Nkunku made it to the final 26 man cut who will represent France in the FIFA World Cup. In France’s preparatory training yesterday, it is believed that Christopher Nkunku picked a knock in a 50-50 challenge against Camavinga.
The challenge left him on the floor, and was assisted off the pitch. Later, a conducted test suggested that he sprained his knee and will not be able to recover before the world.
Report says the French Football Federation has sent a letter, together with Nkunku’s test result to FIFA for his replacement.
Wissam Ben Tedder, Morgan Terrier, Moussa Diaby, or Randal Kolo Muani are tipped to replace him.
