Cristiano Ronaldo dos Santos Aveiro has been the main character in lot of sports news lately. From the transfer season through the match against Tottenham Hotspur in which he exited to the dressing room when the match was still in session.

In a recent interview with Piers Morgan, Ronaldo has revealed some behind the scenes incidents at the Machester based club.

He asserted that the club has betrayed him. Ronaldo joined Manchester United from Juventus last season. He was the top scorer for the club in his first season (24), despite this feat, it was purported during the transfer season that he wants a move away from the club. Some described that it’s because United failed to qualify for the Europa.

However, Ronaldo told Morgan:
“Man United tried to force me out. Not only the manager, but also the other guys who are around the club. I felt betrayed”.

“I feel that some people didn’t want me at Manchester United, not only this year but last season too”.

On Ralf Rangnick tenure at the club, Ronaldo commmented “If you’re not even a coach, how are you going to be the boss of Manchester United FC? I’d never even heard of him.”

With Cristiano Ronaldo’s revelation, some Manchester United fans believe that there might be an iota of truth in Jose Mourinho’s 2019 statement:

“One of the best job career was to finish second with Manchester United in the Premier League. I keep saying this because people don’t know what is going on behind the scenes.”
