Ghanaian musician, rapper, singer and producer Ayat Maqwam Salis, better known by his stage name Kirani Ayat has squashed his beef with Ghana Tourism Authority.

Kirani Ayat run to social media to complain badly how the President of Ghana Nana Akufo-Addo and Ghana Tourism Authority used his music video ‘Guda’ to run campaign without his permission.
This brouhaha generated a lot of conversation within our entertainment space and a wake up call to other artiste to fight for their intellectual property.
After calling out the President President Of Ghana Nana Akufo-Addo and Ghana Tourism Authority to do the needful, he was called close door to discuss the way forward.

The Ghana Tourism Authority has been able to squash their beef with the renowned musician from Ghana.
Kirani Ayat has release a press statement to address the discussion that went on with Ghana Tourism Authority.
According to GTA, these visuals have been used extensively since 2019 for the production of various contents promoting tourism to the country.
Both parties have reached an amicable agreement in settlement to squash their differences.
Moving forward, Ayat and GTA will collaborate on a number of projects aimed at showcasing Ghana, our beautiful landscapes, and exciting talents to the world.

ANNOUNCEMENT OF SETTLEMENT
On September 27, 2022, Mr. Ayat Maqwam, aka Kirani Ayat became aware that visual outtakes of his “Guda” video had been used by the Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA) without his consent.
According to GTA, these visuals have been used extensively since 2019 for the production of various contents promoting tourism to the country.
We are pleased to announce that the parties have reached an amicable agreement in settlement.
Moving forward, Ayat and GTA will collaborate on a number of projects aimed at showcasing Ghana, our beautiful landscapes, and exciting talents to the world.
Ayat appreciates all support from the good people of Ghana throughout this process.
His new project, Aisha’s Sun is available now on all music streaming platforms.
