Ghanaian rapper Kofi Jamar in his tweet has highlighted how the slave trade and colonization had benefited black people.

Kofi Jamar praised the influence Africans have had on musical genres globally in a post on Twitter

The hip-hop artiste, who has been outspoken about his conscious stance on black empowerment, went above and beyond

According to him, “ancestors really knew what they were doing when they sold Most Africans into slavery”.

His tweet continues “The is a great impact on the world as we see today.”

He added that “Blacks have benefited and impacted the world a lot in so many ways due to that migration. Shhh we wouldn’t have had the likes of Jay z, Lebron, Michael Jackson, Kanye West, Virgil abloh, and a whole lot you can mention”

He concluded that “we wouldn’t have had the likes of the Blues, RnB, Rock and Roll, Rap Music, Hip-hop Music
