The Metro Mass Transmit Limited is expected to resume operation soon following the suspension of activities by the Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolitan Assembly (STMA) after the sit down strike ensued by operators on Thursday at the Accra Station
Members of the Metro Mass Transit Limited were urged to remove two (2) buses parked at the assembly’s terminal in Takoradi in order for the authority to order the beginning of operation, according to a joint memorandum of understanding statement dated September 19, 2022, jointly signed by the STMA and sighted by Beach News.
Per the statement, the STMA will terminate Mr. Emmanuel Seckey’s license if he is discovered to be a forgery partner in the VIP Jeoun Transport Group.
The STMA is therefore calling for peaceful coexistence among all parties involved in the transport sector.
