The Western Regional Branch of the New Patriotic Party today begun the election of its new regional executives at Ellembelle.
A total 335 delegates Converged at Nzema Manle Complex at Ellemelle to votes for their respective candidates.
The composition of the delegates include 9 Members of Parliament and 10 council of Elders, 10 Patrons, 2 National council members, 2 Council of state members and 17 regional executives.
The event was attended by Party executives including Nation Chairman, Freddy Blay, Joseph Boahen Adu, CEO of Cocoa Board, Kobby Okyere Darko Mensah, Western Regional Minister,Hon Egyapa Mercer, MP Sekondi, Charles Bissue, NPP Western Regional Secetary, among others.
The voting process which is been supervised by Angelina Tagoe, Western Regional Director of Electoral Commission commenced with registration of agents of the respective candidates after which the voting process begun around at 12:30pm.
