ABENA KORKOR

Ghanaian Lawyer, Maurice Ampaw has warned controversial socialite Abena Korkor might not return alive if she traveled to the Northern part of the country despite her constant publication of nude content on social media. “If Abena Korkor dares to get to the northern region, I don’t think she will return alive…..I take it again….I said …if Abena Korkor goes to the north to exhibit such immoral and foreseen behavior….I don’t think she will return alive…”

Lawyer Ampaw, speaking to Nana Lyon , host of Pluzz FM’s Drive With The Area Gang yesterday reiterated that the law of Ghana permits one to use religion as a correctional tool as Article 11 of Ghana’s constitution consist of customary laws and traditional beliefs. “the laws of the land is not about only the constitution and the act of parliament……at article 11…the laws of the land comprises of our religious beliefs and practices and our cultural laws…..if you go to Article 11 of our constitution, you will realize that our customs and beliefs ……customary laws and traditional beliefs are part of our laws”

Maurice Ampaw added that, religious or traditional beliefs are allowed to be applied if a person goes contrary to the rules even if such punishment involving stoning and no law can deal with them.
