Newly signed USM Algiers striker, Kwame Opoku Bayie has stated he will be quiet surprised if he’s overlooked in the next or subsequent call ups for the senior National team, the Black Stars of Ghana.
Speaking with Abaidoo Abednego on Spice Center Sports, the former Nkoranza Warriors and Asante Kotoko forward admitted he was not satisfied with his performance on his debut but expects to be invited subsequently to prove his worth.
“I wasn’t really satisfied with my performance at the Black Stars but the important thing is we qualified but I will be surprised if I don’t get invited again because I need more games to prove myself”
Kwame Opoku made his dream Black Stars debut when he was handed a start in the AFCON 2022 qualifier against South Africa but had to settle for the bench against Sao Tome and Principe in Ghana.
