Ahanta West NPP members commend MCE and party Elders

Madam Henrietta Mary Eyison

Members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Ahanta West Constituency in the Western Region have expressed their appreciation to the Ahanta West Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) and party Elders for working tirelessly to bring victory to the party in the 2020 general elections.

They also thanked the constituents for having confidence in its 2020 Presidential Candidate, Nana Akufo-Addo by renewing his mandate for another deserving term so as to afford him the opportunity to do more for the good people of this country.

They pointed out that the contributions made by the MCE, Madam Henrietta Mary Eyison towards the party during the electioneering campaign could not be downplayed, resulting in victory for the party.

They pleaded with President Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo to retain her for her good works and loyalty to the party and the electorates to continue to serve for the rapid development of the Municipality.

According to  Mr Charles Andoh, a leading member of the NPP in the Ahanta West Constituency who spoke to Spice Fm News, through their collaborative efforts the impasse that ensued the NPP primaries creating divisions among the rank and file of the party, especially between the incumbent and the candidate was resolved.

However, he bewailed the recent allegations made against the MCE that she incited some party members and sympathisers to vote “skirt and blouse” to the detriment of the party in the 2020 elections and debunked the assertion.

He argued that by dint of hard work by both the MCE and party Elders to bring the NPP family together and clear all bottlenecks among members, victory has greeted the party.

Mr Andoh further thanked the electorates for retaining the Ahanta West Seat in Parliament to support the President-Elect to deliver on his vision for this great country.

He recounted that the MCE had spent a lot of money to support the Women’s Conference held by the Constituency and during the party’s primaries, adding that over hundred polling station agents received water and food provided by Madam Eyison during the election day.
