Jon Benjamin mocks Stonebwoy for Claiming to be the Otumfour of Ghana Dancehall Music
Self acclaimed king of Dancehall Music in Ghana Stonebwoy, in his recent interview on Citi TV has once again bragged about the tittle and further more brags that he is the Otumfour Osei Tutu II of the Genre.
“I don’t have to remind people that I am the king un this music industry. If Otumfour is King, he doesn’t have to remind his people that he is King,” he said.
The BHIM Nation CEO further aired that he has no challenger when it comes to proper dancehall music, I mean deep Dancehall music, not the ones some artistes have been singing here in Ghana which I cannot even tell whether its ‘Jama or Kpalongo’.
Well, soon after this story was published by beachfmonline.com, the Former British High Commissioner to Ghana, Jon Benjamin, threw a shade at the dancehall musician.
He asked that why don’t he say he’s rather the Obinim of Ghanaian Dancehall?
He further said that Stonebwoy’s claim are immodest.
