Faustina Ampah named best player in Black Queens win against Super Falcons

Center Back Faustina Ampah was adjudged the Woman of the Match in Black Stars victory against Super Falcons in the second semifinal game of the WAFU Women’s Cup of Nations.
The Black Queens number 15 shirted scored on the 17th minute mark jumping highest to connect to Priscilla Okyere’s cross. Ampah’s goal drew Ghana level after Alice Ogede has given Nigeria an earlier lead.
Coach Mercy Tagoe’s side advanced ahead of Thomas Dennerby’s mixed-age Super Falcons with a 5:4 on spot kicks.

Black Queens will face host Ivory Coast in the final of Saturday, February 24.
