Ghana’s Youth team on Sunday at the Cape Coast Stadium advanced to the next stage of the CAF 2018 FIFA Women’s Youth tournament qualifiers with a 5:0 victory against Algeria.
Goals from Priscilla Adubea, Helena Obeng, Vivian Adjei Konadu, Grace Asantewa and Felicity Asuako ensured Ghana finished the game 5:0 winners to advance on a 10:0 aggregate.
Sandra Owusu Ansah who starred in Ghana’s 5:0 victory in the first was the only missing player in the squad paraded by coach Yusif Basigi.
The Black Princesses with the victory will meet Kenya in the next stage of the qualifiers which will be played on November 3 in Ghana and November 17 at Nairobi.
