Aduana rue dropped points

Head coach of  Aduana Stars Yusif Abubakar has stated that his side is still eyeing the Ghana Premier League title despite dropping points at home against Kumasi Asante Kotoko last Monday.

Aduana who lie second on the league table played out a goalless draw game with fifth placed Kumasi Asante Kotoko on match day 18 of the Ghana Premier League, and Abubakar who replaced Romanian Cioba Aristica before the start of the 2016-17 season admitted the scoreline was bad for his side’s title chasing ambition. He added that every team in the Ghanaian topflight is a threat to his side’s title ambitions.
“It’s bad we dropped points at home but we are still eyeing the league title. All the other 15 clubs are a threat to our title chase.” Coach Yusif Abubakar
The former Wa All Stars coach claims that all 15 remaining clubs are threat to the side’s title chasing dream.
 
Aduana Stars are after their second Ghana Premier League title after defying all odds in 2009 to clinch the title as the first promoted side to win the title in Ghana’s elite division.
Aduana Stars trail leaders WAFA by 2 points with 12 more matches to end the season.
