Security and Fraud Consultant, Richard Kumadoe has reiterated the need for the state security agencies to focus on tackling internal terrorist groups rather than paying more attention to external forces.

Mr Kumadoe was reacting to last Sunday’s shooting incident in Nigeria, where about 50 worshippers were shot by gunmen in a Catholic Church in the Southwestern part of the country.

According to him, the recent incident in Nigeria emanates from some activities of Boko Haram such as kidnappings, bombings, abductions etc.

He mentioned in an interview on Spice91.9FM that some groups come in the form of land guards, vigilante and militia groups which needs to be disbanded as these groups eventually turn into a terrorist.

He observed that some of these groups behave just like terrorists, citing that some engage in the firing of arms and other uncalled for practices.

The expert called for training of personnel’s to tighten security in public places such as restaurant, church, mosques etc.

In his submission, he said, most terrorist groups tend to reveal their intentions for an attack on a country or people.
