Sunyani Fire Service receives new Fire Fighting equipment worth 4,000 Euros

Tain Development Foundation has made a donation of Fire fighting gears to the Brong Ahafo regional fire command of the Ghana National Fire service.
Items donated included firefighting jacket, trousers and Boots worth 4,000 Euros.

The Organizer of Tain Development Foundation, Victor Kalala also revealed that 201 fire fighting jacket, 140 trousers and 40 boots will be donated to the volunteers of Badu, Bepoayaase in the Tain District and Banda Ahenkro also in the Banda District.

The donation, according to him is to facilitate the work of fire fighters in Tain District and also help protect lives and properties of residents in the region.<script async src=”//pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/js/adsbygoogle.js”></script>

Receiving the equipment, the Assistant Chief Fire Officer, James Owusu – Adjei appealed to residents in the region to pay attention to their safety in the wake of numerous fire outbreaks in the country.
He noted that the equipment will facilitate and enhance their operations during Fire outbreaks and promised to use the items for its intended purposes.
The regional commander of the Ghana National Fire Service however stressed that the service will work hard to reduce Fire cases to the barret minimum in the year 2018.
