Management stopped me from featuring on Sarkodie's Trumpet-Kinaata

Kofi Kinaata has revealed the reason behind his absence on Sarkodie’s “Trumpet” which had loads of buzz and at the same time questions as to the reason why he[Kofi Kinaata] wasn’t on the song.
The latest revelation from the camp of the man behind “Made In Taadi” Concert reveals, his boss[Samini] at Highgrade Family stopped him from collaborating with Sarkodie.
Strongman, Teephlow, Donzy, Medikal, Koo Ntakra and Pappy Kojo were all on the typical Hip Hop song[Trumpet]. Most Takoradi music lover and followers of the Highgrade Family signed artiste tried finding out why the Effia-Kuma based rapper and singer wasn’t on it.



In and interview with sizezerogh.com, the two times VGMA Song Writer[Kinaata] opined that he has earlier agreed in a conversation with Sarkodie to add his lines to the Hip Hop tune, but his contracted half prevented that from happening.
“Sarkodie approached me to feature on the “Trumpet” tune.  I was will to jump on it so I asked for the instrumentals and he did send.” Kofi told sizezerogh.com
“I had to consult my management about it and they felt, Sarkodie should me alone on his song,not with a particular group of rappers. ” He added.
However, Kofi Kinaata did not rule out a collaboration with the most decorated rapper in Africa, Sarkodie in the near future.
