WESTERN REGION'S COVID-19 CASES INCREASE FROM 9 TO 13

The Western region has recorded four New Cases of COVID-19 according to confirmation by Dr Atsu Dodor, Deputy Director In charge of Clinic Care at the Western Regional Health Directorate.

The cases were recorded in the Ellembelle and Mpohor districts while the other two were recorded in the Ahanta West and Effia Kwesiminstsim Municipalities.

Our source disclosed that two additional cases have been recorded in the Tarkwa-Nsuaem Municipality but it is yet to be confirmed. if confirmed, it will take our case count to 15 but in the mean time the Western Region cases stands at 13.

The last offic33ial update by the Western Regional Health Directorate indicated the Western Region of Ghana has recorded 8 new cases of COVID-19 from 1 to 9. Two of the cases are from Ezema East (Azim Hospital) and the remaining six were confirmed in the Sekondi Takoradi Metropolis.
