Finance Minister, Ken Ofori Atta, say the exchange rate has been more stable under the Akufo Addo administration.
The Finance Minister, Ken Ofori-Atta said this while presenting the mid-year budget review and supplementary estimates in Parliament Monday 29th July, 2019 in accordance with Section (28) of the Public Financial Management Act, 2016 (Act 921).
He however noted that Ghana’s banking sector which was dwindling has been rescued and recapitalised.
”Inflation has dropped to single digit…we have had to make some difficult decisions to correct the wrongs of the past government. We are building a stronger, ambitious and confident economy”, he said.
