"I AM NOT READY TO DO HIPHOP SONGS" -KOFI KINAATA

Kofi Kinaata

Martin King Arthur popularly known by his stage name Kofi Kinaata or the king of Fante rap seems not to be interested in making of Hip Songs for now as many of his funs who have known his lyrical dexterity in rap music seems to suggest.

He explained, he is now focusing on writing and producing music that he will be proud of in his 70’s rather than rushing to producing Hip Pop music that will fade with time.

“I know my funs and people that love and follow me would want me to do a rap on a rap beat all the time; Team Move will consider it because that’s not bad at all. Truth is I don’t want to release song just like that because my funs want me to. You know how I do my songs; I do it in such a way that if you are a Dj and you don’t play it on air your mother or sister will even play the song in the house for you to hear. I even have a studio in my house and I can do it at anytime but I have a plan and do it well. I want to do songs I can be proud of in my 70s”

Kofi however urged his funs to anticipate  the release of his new single tiled “Adam and Eve” as he works to complete the music video of his recently released single Never Again which features Ghana’s self acclaimed dancehall king Shatta Wale.

He made this known on Spice 91.9 Fm’s late night show “Ofie Ne Fie” with Yoofi Eyeson.
