The Western Regional Motor Transport and Traffic Directorate (MTTD) has rewarded some of its personnel for their outstanding performance in the execution of their duties as Police officers of the Unit.
In short dinner ceremony that took place at Cocoa Villa on 25th of February, some officers received certificate of appreciation, cash price and table top refrigerators for their unflinching efforts toward the service.
In a short dinner ceremony which was attended by some respectable personalities in society including regional commander DCOP. Mr. Victor Adusa Poku, Western Regional Poilice PRO, DSP Olivia Ewurabena Adiku, and Hon. Ignatius Asaah Mensah.
Speaking on the sideline of the event, MTTD Western Regional Commander, C/Supt. Mr. Isaac Kwasi Sorkpah reiterated the Unit’s commitment to reward hard work and encourage positive attitude towards work. According to him, the occasion was a dinner night but it was also an avenue to appreciate personnel who have demonstrated commitment, dedication and sacrifice at its best to be motivated to continue with such an impressive performance.
He also added that the unit will prefer to award more of its personnel for their exceptional efforts yet limited resources affected the number staff to be considered for the Awards. He called on stakeholders to support the Units in time like this to expand the number of Awardees.
The event was support by institutions such Western Transport Limited and Western 360.
