Mahama urges Ghanaians to vote out NPP

Flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama, has passionately called on Ghanaians to vote against the incumbent New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the upcoming general elections on December 7.

Addressing a rally in the Savannah Region as part of his nationwide campaign tour, Mahama criticized the NPP government, led by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, for what he described as the mismanagement of the country’s economy, resulting in widespread financial hardship for citizens.

Mahama stressed that to bring about meaningful change and provide relief to the people, Ghanaians must vote out the NPP.

He accused the government of economic incompetence and a refusal to take responsibility for the current challenges, pointing to the depreciation of the cedi and the rising prices of essential goods, such as cement, as evidence of mismanagement.

He urged Ghanaians to reject the NPP, stating that despite clear signs of economic decline, the ruling party continues to claim it is the better manager of the economy, citing discrepancies such as the exchange rate and cost of basic commodities during their tenure.
