Business Creation Must Be Towards Solving Societal issues – Nii Kpani

The Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the Sekondi – Takoradi Chamber of Commerce Industries, STCCI, Mr. Nii Kpani says businesses should be created with the intent to solve a problem in the society.

In the world where more businesses are springing up there seems to be less progress in the economic sector.  

In an interview with Spice Fm’s flagship program, Adze Kye Mu Nsem, Mr. Kpani charged young people to identify a problem in the society in order to create a business out of it.

Mr. Kpani called on young entrepreneurs not to venture into business with the intent of getting rich but to satisfy a need which can turn into a wealth creation.

He also mentioned that starting up a business can be difficult but with the right knowledge coupled with skills would make an individual gain grounds in the world of business.

Most importantly, he noted that time must be given for businesses to grow steadily and not be in a haste to exhibited flashy lifestyle.

Mr. Kpani advised the youth to have the urge to create their own business which could help in reducing the issue unemployment in amongst the youth.

He mentioned that working for one self is beneficial as compared to working for another person which sometimes comes with some insecurities.

He also noted that starting one’s business can be challenging but with the right knowledge and skills such as managerial, bookkeeping, accounting amongst others can make the businesses strive in the competitive markets.
