NABCO trainees under the Ministry of Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs dismissed.

All NABCO trainees associated with the Ministry of Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs have been asked to go home.

The trainees have been relieved of duties since the program finished in October last year, according to an order issued by the Minister to heads of organizations reporting to him.

Despite government assurances that they would be retained, their looming sacking has taken place.

On Monday, November, 15 2021 a statement signed by NABCO boss Dr. Ibrahim Anyars assured that, “following a high-level stakeholder meeting with the lead NABCO Module Implementation Partners (MIPs) led by His Excellency, the Vice President of the Republic of Ghana and the Honorable Chief of Staff, all NABCO trainees are required to remain at post”.

But it seems this assurance might become lip service if other agencies follow suit by relieving the NABCO trainees of duties.
